Chapter 45 Rescue

Anton went up to the second floor and looked for Stephan from room to room. By this time, the door at

the end of the second floor opened and two people came out. One was Stephan, and the other was

holding a dagger around Stephan’s neck. “You! Stop there! Or I'll kill him!”

Anton turned around and stared at the man, sneering, “If he died, you would never bealive, too!”

“Oh, stop it! Stephan is in my hands, and if you dare come over, I will take him with me!” The man

tightened the dagger on Stephan’s neck and he was bleeding at once.

Anton did not speak and walked forward with his hands slowly reaching into the inside pocket. The man

watched Anton coming over and yelled, “What are you doing? Stop there! Stop! I... I will certainly kill

him!” As he spoke, the shaking dagger in his hand pierced Stephan’s neck a little. Stephan gritted his

teeth and tried not to make a sound. He saw Zara behind Anton, and he did not want to be humiliated

in front of the woman he adored.

Anton stopped just five steps away from Stephan. His hands pulled out with a black card between his

two fingers. That man saw a lot of it and his body was trembling. With a sneer, Anton threw the black

card to the man. The person exclaimed and stumbled backward instinctively. The dagger consequently

released Stephan’s neck.

At that point, Zara moved. She hurled a three-and-a-half-inch long small dagger right there at the man's

neck. Although the dagger was small and light, and the cut was not so deep, the man was still yelping

with pain, putting his hands over the wound. Anton must take this opportunity. He sprinted forwards and

ended the man’s life with a fatal blow.

It happened so fast that Stephan took a while to realize that he had just survived the killing. He opened

his arms towards Anton. Anton smiled and said, “Stephan, I saved you, but you don't have to be

touched to this degree, ha-ha…”

Anton stopped laughing because he saw Stephan putting his arms around Zara and saying softly, “Oh,

thank you so much, Zara! I’m so moved to see you at this moment! You saved me! Thank you!”

Forgotten in the background, Anton managed not to roll his eyes. ‘Who the hell are you? You only know

how to present yourself before a girl and just abandon your friend. God! I shouldn’t have tried to save

him.’ He thought indignantly.

Zara blushed in Stephan’s arms. She lifted her right leg quickly and stood back. Pale green, Stephan

crossed his legs with an ugly smile at Zara. He clamped his mouth shut but doubted from the bottom of

his heart if he could have an erection in the future.

Anton smiled to himself, but asked with concern, “Stephan, you all right? You look like crap. What's

wrong with you?”

Stephan smiled at Anton just as sad as he was crying. “I’m... I'm fine! I'm gonna change clothes in the

room!” He walked into the room groggily before Anton could speak. When the door was closed,

Stephan kneaded his penis gently and said in a small voice, “Get up, please! Please, don't scare me!”

Anton grinned and said, “Zara, did you kick him too hard? Haw, haw!”

Zara flushed and shot him an angry glance. She turned away to go downstairs, but annoying laughter

could still be heard.

Ten minutes later, Stephan changed his clothes. He put medicine on the cut and taped gauze over it.

“Stephan, why did Vicci suddenly rebel?” Anton and Stephan talked as they walked out.

Stephan said in a furious voice, “Vicci is always kicking my ass as a gang elder and standing in the way

of every decision I make. It's a matter of time. I just didn't expect he would do so at this time. Recently

the family was closely monitored by the police. I was so busy with the affairs of the gang that I ignored

the wicked bastard and gave him a chance! I won't spare him.”

Anton nodded and asked, “Stephan, how many members in Youth Gang remain loyal to you now?”

Stephan thought about it and said firmly, “Maybe I am not a good boss, but I regard all of them as my

brothers and sisters. Don’t take this personally, but half of them still follow my every instruction! That’s

why Vicci didn’t dare to kill me!”

“That's good! Now you’re here. The doom of Vicci is near!” Laughed Anton.

Stephan suddenly asked, “What about Dolores and Camille? Are they OK?”

Anton blushed with shame becausse he was also puzzled to know how it is going with the Whites. It

was Jason who told him that they were fine. Anton just said evasively, “Don’t worry. They are quite safe

Stephan felt intensively relieved to hear that. He said excitedly, “As long as my sisters are not in Vicci’s

hand, he is nothing to be afraid of. Now it’s time he pays for what he’s done!”

Anton said with a smile, “Another piece of exciting news. Vicci’s son is in my hands!”

Ramon was about Stephan’s age. They have known each other since childhood because of Vicci’s high

standing in the gang. However, different temperaments made for endless fights and quarrels between

them. But Stephan was the boss. After all, Ramon didn’t dare to be too arrogant in front of Stephan

despite his father’s support and power.

Stephan was overjoyed to hear the news. He laughed, “Good for you, Anton! It's rather difficult to get

Ramon in this situation. You don't know how Vicci cherishes his baby boy. Ah, I wish I could be there to

see his face if he knew his son was in your hands. Come on. Tell me how you did that.”

“Mmm, it’s…” Anton was so embarrassed. ‘Jason told me about it! God knows how he caught that guy!’

He laughed to himself and said to Stephan, “Well, it’s a long story. I'll tell you later! Now we have to go!”

“Oh, okay!”

The phone rang as soon as they got in the car. It was Jason. He told them he was in the North Hotel,

together with the Whites. Thus, Anton asked the driver to make their way to the North Hotel.

In the North Hotel, before Anton could speak, Jason pulled Stephan and Anton to a guest room and

told them the whole story. It was fortunate that a member of the Ghost Regime happened to see

Ramon picking up Dolores and Camille at the door of No.1 High School. It was supposed to be nothing

since Ramon often did that during that period. Before the car had gone far, something unusual

occurred to the man. Two sedans appeared in the school today while only one came there in normal

times. He was not sure how many people were in the second car, but he could say it was full of people

according to the shape of the pressed tires. Besides, Ramon’s weird smile when Camille got on

betraying his evil ideas. The member immediately flagged down a taxi and told the driver to keep up

with the sedan ahead. In the cab, he took out his phone to call Jason and told him what had happened.

(The Ghost Regime was an intelligence agency and intricate and timely communications were

necessary. Thus a phone was assigned by Anton to each member.)

It was about Camille and Jason dare not be careless. He asked that person to be at Ramon’s heels

and keep his phone off. When Ramon stopped at the Pavel Hotel, the man immediately phoned Jason

and was told not to scare Ramon off and just observe him in the dark. Then, Jason sent five team

members there.

When Ramon and the Whites were in a private room, the man was eavesdropping right next door.

Later, Ramon and his men dragged the Whites unconscious to the fifth floor. The man followed them

and stuck a black card on the last person's back without a trace. Then he sat in the hall waiting for the

reinforcements. And what happened next was just as stated above. Suffice it to say, it was the man's

agility that rescued Camille and Dolores. Especially his quick idea of sticking a black card indeed

bought a lot of time for the arrival of reinforcements.

Anton and Stephan listened and broke into a sweat. In particular, Anton blamed himself for

carelessness and contempt for Ramon. Stephan stood up and bowed low to Jason, saying, “Jason,

thank you very much for this time! If you hadn’t been there, that bastard would have ruined my sisters’

lives. I thank you for them!”

Jason held Stephan and said hurriedly, “To be honest, this is my duty, or should I say, that’s what I

should do for Anton. You don’t have to thank me. It was all because of Anton and that clever bro!”

Stephan felt sort of embarrassed, so Anton immediately said, “Jason, is that fellow here? Stephan and I

must find a way to thank him!”

“He started with a new mission. Well, you know, working in the Ghost Regime is fairly hard! Training is

the most tiring, and we are always the busiest and facing the most dangerous enemy!” Laughed Jason.

In fact, he just wanted to take this opportunity to complain to Anton. Maybe Anton decided to raise their

salaries and give more benefits!

Then, the door opened and Jasper and Bruce walked in. Jasper said in a high-pitched voice, “What do

you mean Jason? You mean, everyone except your men is a lazy idiot and we just enjoy ourselves

every day, right? You are so full of it!” Bruce repeatedly nodded.

Jason smiled awkwardly, ‘Why are you here at this hour?’ He said quickly, “No, I mean everyone is very

tired .” Jasper interrupted with an evil smile, “Yes, all of us are tired, but your jobs are the hardest,

right?”

Jason’s face was red and he pointed at Jasper, speechless. Anton never stopped this funny bickering

since he thought it would be a good opportunity to enhance their friendship. He laughed and said to

Jasper, “Well, it seems you have learned a lot in quarreling with Albert and Bruce!” Then he turned to

Jason, “When it comes to talking, there is a lot more you need to learn from Jasper!”
