Chapter 1954

The group traveled through a desolate expanse of endless sand, a monotonous scene void of life.

However, a surprising change awaited them as the barren landscape transformed into a vibrant oasis filled with flowers, plants, and trees.

It was a stark contrast to the lifeless terrain they had just crossed. Up ahead, an expansive and endless forest emerged, anunusual sight in the expectedly barren Deadlands.

The sudden appearance of this flourishing oasis left them in awe.

The oasis ahead looked like two different worlds. On one side, yellow sand stretched out, barren and desolate. On the otherside, lush greenery extended as far as the eye could see.

“Wow! Who'd have thought we’d find this in the middle of Deadlands?”“Is this really an oasis? It looks more like a forest!”“With all these green trees, sweet- smelling grass, and blooming flowers, it’s like stumbling upon a hidden paradise!”

Amid their amazement at this unexpected sight, the group couldn’t contain their astonishment. The earlier oasis they had comeacross was a grove with a pond and diverse flora and fauna.

Yet, the oasis standing before them now resembled a forest, presenting an extraordinary spectacle with its expansive andflourishing landscape.

“Captain, remember when we ventured into the Deadlands last year? There was no trace of this oasis, right?“It's mind-boggling how much has transformed in just a year!” the short- haired girl from the Black Scorpion Squad commented.

Looking at the flourishing vegetation, she found it hard to believe that these tall plants had sprung up so quickly in the unforgivingdesert.

“Maybe it’s the earth’s crust shifting, causing underground rivers to overflow and shape this landscape,” Garrett replied. However, his explanation sounded doubiful.

In the tough conditions of the Deadlands, where harsh weather dominated, it was unlikely that abundant vegetation could thrive, even with enough rain and sunlight.novelbin

Yet, to their surprise, a forest appeared in the midst of this arid landscape, seemingly defying nature’s laws.“Wow, what a hidden gem!” Jackson exclaimed with enthusiasm. “There must be so many treasures inside!”Initially skeptical of Ryan’s earlier statements, Jackson was now fully convinced.

“Sure, there might be treasures, but there are probably many dangers, too,” Grace warned. “Just be cautious when entering.

“With our numbers and skilled experts, even if we come across danger, I’m confident we can overcome it,” Jackson saidoptimistically.

With Aidan at the forefront, Jackson felt completely secure.

They could strategically steer clear of conflicts and patiently wait for reinforcements from the Embersteel Order, as he hadalready notified them.

“Since it’s still early, why don’t we head inside and explore?” Aidan suggested eagerly, taking the lead into the forest.“Sure,” Grace responded concisely, leading the team as they trailed behind Aidan.

Alarge group of almost a hundred people entered the lush oasis. As they stepped in, the intense heat vanished, replaced by arefreshing coolness.

The gentle breeze brought a distinct floral fragrance, creating a serene atmosphere. This was a stark contrast to the toughconditions they had faced in the desert over the past few days.
