Chatper 1900

“Cinna, why are you standing there? Lost in thought? Come on, we need to find that treasure map!” Julius, his face contortedwith frustration, unleashed it all on Cinna.

“Okay.” Cinna promptly headed straight for the big alloy door. He took out Reagan’s severed hand and placed it on the centralsensing area.

The heavy alloy door opened, revealing a metallic vault of about 300 square feet.

In the center was an impressive stack of gold bricks. Surrounding it were an assortment of precious rarities that were closelypacked, each worth a fortune.

“This is Reagan’s private gold vault. Anything he took a liking to ended up in here,” Cinna said.

“Wow, look at all this treasure!” Austin exclaimed, glancing around in amazement. “Imagine if we cash in on this haul, we couldpractically own an entire city!”

“These treasures can’t compare to the three treasuries of the Dragon Guard. The treasures here are merely a drop in the ocean,”Cinna remarked seriously.

“Really?” Austin’s surprise and delight were evident.“Are you telling me that the treasuries of the Dragon Guard are like massive piles of wealth?”

“| haven't witnessed it firsthand. But considering the Dragon Guard’s wealth amassed over decades, calling their treasuriesmountains wouldn't be an overstatement,” Cinna stated earnestly.

“Okay... | can’t wait to get my hands on the Dragon Guard’s treasures!” Austin was excited.“Let's cut to the chase. Where's that treasure map?” Julius inquired, his impatience evident.

“It's here.” Cinna strolled over to a shelf toward the back. He reached for a sandalwood box and handed it over to Dustincarefully.

Dustin opened it to find three parchment maps.

Each map outlined a specific route, with a shiny golden mark pinpointing the treasury’s location at the center.

If they could trust the accuracy of the treasure map, following the outlined route seemed like the key to reaching the treasury.“Your Highness, just a gentle reminder that the treasuries will have the watchful eyes of our skilled Dragon Guard warriors.“They won't open those treasuries unless the Chief Guild Master is around, “Cinna added.

“The Dragon Guard is history now. A handful of warriors won’t cause much trouble,” Dustin said casually.

“Your Highness, I’ve finished my task. Is it possible for me to visit my family one last time?” Cinna pleaded.

“I'll give you three days. Spend some time with your family. After that, come back and be prepared to face the consequences,”Dustin stated coldly.

“Thank you, Your Highness,” Cinna said.

His face lit up with joy as he dropped to his knees and bowed to Dustin. Cinna figured three days should be enough for him totake care of everything.

It was a huge relief knowing he could ensure his family’s safety and fulfill his final wish at the same time.

“Albert, escort him out and ensure he leaves with dignity,” Dustin instructed.

“Yes, sir.” Albert nodded, freed Cinna from his shackles, and guided him out of the secret chamber.

“| can’t believe that the guy who seemed so loyal to West Lucozia turned out to be a traitor.” Austin shook his head in disbelief.novelbin

Dustin said calmly, “We all have to deal with the outcomes of our choices. He did what he believed was right, and now he has toaccept the repercussions.

From Cinna’s point of view, he believed that any action was justified if it meant protecting his family. On the other hand, Dustinsaw such treacherous behavior as entirely unforgivable.
