Chatper 1834

In the castle’s side hall, the Southern Four Sovereigns sat in a row, quietly waiting. Each of them bore a different expression, lostin contemplation.novelbin

Elijah casually sipped his coffee, Lincon rested with closed eyes, Tyrus observed the hall’s arrangement, and Wyatt pacedimpatiently.

After some time passed, Eloise entered the hall with Austin and Jaxon, carrying an exquisite purple rosewood box.

“Gentlemen, the Marshal’s military insignia has arrived,” she announced and delicately placed the rosewood box on the table.Upon unveiling its contents, it revealed a striking golden tiger token.

The meticulously crafted tiger token emanated a regal and imposing presence. Adorning its surface in resplendent gold were thewords: ”

Symbol of Armor, with the Prince on the left and Lucozia on the right.”

“Indeed, it’s the Marshal’s military insignia!” Wyatt exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. He added, “With this insignia, we cancommand the Black Dragon Army. Julius’s scheme will crumble without a fight.”

“Your Highness, time is of the essence. Hurry, take the insignia to the Black Dragon Army’s base, meet with their leaders, andexplain your identity. Don’t let Julius proceed any further,” Tyrus urged.

“The Marshal's military insignia is crucial. Julius won't sit idly by. Your Highness, this mission will be exceptionally dangerous. Befully prepared,” Lincon reminded.

“| understand. I’ve discussed it with my mother. I’ll dispatch ten covert teams from various directions, and I'll blend in amongthem,” Austin declared solemnly.

He added, “Even if Julius is vigilant, he won't find me so easily. By the time he realizes the danger, | should already be at theBlack Dragon Army’s base.”

“Very good. Your Highness, only you and Her Highness should know about this mission. Don’t disclose it to a third person toavoid any mishaps,” Lincon advised.

“Thank you for the reminder, Uncle Lincon. I'll be careful.” Austin nodded.

“No time to waste. Let's get to work,” Lincon said.

“Wait a moment ...” Suddenly, Elijah spoke up. “Is there something wrong with this insignia?”“Huh?” Austin frowned. “What's wrong with it?”

“| remember the military insignia doesn’t seem to look like this. Could it be swapped?” Elijah said.

“Impossible!” Eloise dismissed the idea. “The military insignia is placed in a secure room. Only he and | know about it. It couldn’thave been swapped.

“That’s strange.” Elijah narrowed his eyes, carefully examining the insignia.

“Uncle Elijah, could you be mistaken?” Austin asked.

“| can’t say for sure. Let me take a closer look,” Elijah responded, taking the military insignia from Austin to examine it carefully.

At that moment, Lincon appeared to sense something. His expression abruptly changed. “Your Highness, exercise caution withthe military insignia!”

As he spoke, Elijah suddenly flashed a wicked grin. Then, with a twist on his wrist, the military insignia disappeared.

“Your Highness, thank you!” he said. Then, he stomped on the ground, catapulting through the roof and vanishing into thedarkness at an astonishing speed.

Everything unfolded so rapidly that no one present fully comprehended it. From Elijah taking the military insignia to disappearing, only two seconds had elapsed.

In the momentary daze, he, along with the military insignia, was gone.

“Elijah is a traitor! Retrieve the military insignia quickly! Otherwise, the castle is in danger!”
