Anyone could figure out what Scott was scheming. If she drugged Dustin, she'd be part of the scheme.

“Like bankrupting your Camron family or framing you all and tossing you into prison. How about that?"
"Mr. Mosey, you're pushing it! Oakvale isn't a lawless place!" Lana was growing furious.

"If you're planning to kill me, just get on with it. No need for the chatter!" Lana faced death head-on.Considering Scott's personality, he wouldn't let her off easy, even if he dealt with Dustin.
"Ms. Camron, | respect your courage. You're not afraid of dying, but what about your family? Will they go with you?" Scottsuddenly turned to the Camron family members, smirking.
