“Marriage?” Dahlia frowned immediately upon hearing this. They had just met today, and she barely knew anything about “Rhett”.Even if he had saved her life, agreeing to a marital commitment was a big jump.

“Anders, marriage is a serious matter. You shouldn't treat it lightly,” Seamus raised an eyebrow.

“Dahlia, what do you think?” Instead of giving a direct answer, Seamus turned to Dahlia for her opinion.
“Godfather, I’m extremely grateful to Mr. Adams for saving me, but to repay him with marriage is something | just cannot bringmyself to do.” Dahlia shook her head gently.
“Dahlia, marriage is often decided by the parents. I’m afraid you have no say in this,” Anders said with a smirk.“If | have no say, then you certainly have no say, either,” Dahlia retorted.
“Why not? An elder brother is just like a father.”
Maintaining his composure, Anders turned to Dustin with a smile and asked, “Mr. Adams, what do you think?
“| appreciate your goodwill, Sir Anders, but I’m afraid I’m not worthy of Ms. Nicholson with my humble status. There is no needfor marriage,” Dustin declined politely.
