“So, what you mean is that only they can bully us, but we aren’t allowed to retaliate? So powerless people like us can only everbe terrorized and humiliated by powerful people like you?

“Is ita sin to even think about protecting ourselves?” Dustin mocked.

Despite losing her memories, Dahlia remained the same. She was still prejudiced and self-righteous. She never got the situationstraight before jumping to conclusions.novelbin

“| don’t understand what you mean.” Dahlia frowned slightly.

“My people came today to discuss business. As a shareholder of Camron Medicals, you should treat them with courtesy insteadof resorting to threats.

“We would naturally welcome them if they were guests. But if they are enemies, don’t blame us for being rude, “Dustin retorted.“What? You've made a mistake and stirred up trouble, yet you don’t feel any remorse?” Dahlia frowned.“Ms. Nicholson, this was a misunderstanding.” Lana suddenly stepped up and smiled apologetically.

“Ms. Amberson here insisted on cutting the line earlier. She even showed off the Mosey family badge, intimidating us in variousways.

“We resisted, but she threatened to damage our company instead. Dustin just acted impulsively in a fit of anger.”

“Is that so?” Dahlia turned toward Julie. Julie’s expression stiffened but she quickly put on a bold front and explained, “Dahlia, don't listen to their nonsense!

“I came here to discuss business sincerely, but Dustin sought revenge and tried to kick us out. | was too angry and spoke a fewharsh words, but nothing more!”

“That’s right, Ms. Dahlia. | can testify that it’s all Dustin’s fault!” Elena immediately spoke up.“Dustin was not only acting unreasonably but also resorted to violence. Look at Julie’s face, it's swollen!”“Dahlia, I’ve never felt so insulted before. You must stand up for me!” Julie pleaded tearfully, looking aggrieved.

When Dahlia saw Julie’s swollen face with a clear handprint still visible, her expression grew dark. She questioned harshly,“Dustin, were you the one who hit Julie?”

“Yes, but only be-” Dustin was about to explain when Dahlia interjected.

“So, it was you! And here | thought others were pushing you around. It turned out that you were the bully! How dare you claiminnocence?”

Dustin frowned, his expression turned grim. If it were any other person who said that, he wouldn’t have cared less. But it wasfrom Dahlia, and her words cut him like a knife.

“Ms. Nicholson, everything has its reasons. You shouldn't only listen to one side of the story.” Lana hurriedly explained when shesaw the situation turning unfavorable.

“Everyone here witnessed the situation clearly. Ask anyone, and you'll know the truth.”

“Alright! Then I'll ask and find out who exactly is at fault!”

Dahlia glanced around before her gaze settled on a woman. She asked, “Miss, please tell me truthfully what happened earlier.Did Dustin initiate the fight?”

“Think carefully before you speak. Don’t fabricate stories. If you dare cover for Dustin, you’ll bear the consequences!” Elenawarned.

The lady turned pale and nodded repeatedly. “That’s right, Dustin started the violence, and Ms. Amberson was the victim. | saweverything.”

“What?” Lana frowned when she heard her. She didn’t expect her to lie so boldly in public.

However, upon second thought, it seemed understandable. Who would dare offend two of Oakvale’s greatest families and one ofthe ancient houses?

Even if they did something wrong, it could be covered up with their influence.“Dustin! What else do you have to say?” Dahlia’s expression turned cold when she got her answers.

She commanded, “I order you now to apologize and compensate Julie immediately. That way, you still have a way out.Otherwise, poisoning alone is enough for you to spend half of your life in prison!”
