Chapter 1447

Dustin felt pressured by Simon’s scrutinizing gaze. However, he had already anticipated a situation like this and showed nooutward signs of discomfort.

“My Lord, I’ve long heard of your name, but we've never met. Perhaps you find me familiar because | possess a ratherunremarkable appearance,” Dustin explained humbly.

Over the past decade, his height, appearance, and temperament significantly changed. Even his closest friends from the pastwouldn't recognize him at first glance.

“Is that so?” Simon looked him up and down again. He then replied impassively, “Perhaps that is true.”

“Grandfather, Dustin is an exceptional man. He excels in both the literary and martial arts and has outstanding medical expertise. He has also helped me out many times in the past.novelbin

“It would be difficult to find a young talent as outstanding as he is in all of Oakvale,” Natasha introduced Dustin proudly. She wasalways eager to highlight the merits of her man.

“Haha. Don’t you think you’re exaggerating a little too much, sweetheart?” Simon shook his head with a smile.“Oakvale is full of talents. While this young man is capable, he still has a long way to go to match the top-tier geniuses.”“Grandfather, | know you might be skeptical now, but you'll understand soon,” Natasha said with a mysterious smile.

She didn’t elaborate because she believed some things had to be seen to be believed. She was confident that Dustin wouldpleasantly surprise her grandfather one day.

“Alright, let's take our seats,” Simon suggested. They sat down gracefully while his guards positioned themselves on either side, remaining vigilant for potential disturbances.

“Sir Dante, you can begin now,” Natasha said with a faint smile, looking expectant.

“Begin?” The corner of Dante’s eyes twitched. How were they supposed to begin? Samson had been defeated, and no one elsewas skilled enough for a one-on- one duel with Dustin. Unless Declan made it in time, they would suffer a great loss today!

“What's wrong, Sir Dante? Didn't the Fallons arrange this duel? Why the hesitation? You wouldn’t want my grandfather to arriveexcitedly and leave in disappointment, would you?” Natasha teased.

“Well...” .” Dante’s expression froze, and beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

They never expected a minor duel to catch the interest of someone as influential as Simon. The current situation had slippedbeyond his control. With no room for retreat, he had no choice but to continue.

“Who's willing to duel with Dustin?” Dante turned to the disciples of the Fallon family.

The disciples exchanged uneasy glances, looking hesitant. Who else would be a match for Dustin if even Samson wasdefeated? They would just be humiliating themselves if they went up now.

“What? Are the Fallon men all cowards? “Dante frowned slightly.

Losing was one thing, but fearing the duel was another. The Fallons hated defeat but hated cowardice more.

“Dexter! You go!” Dante pointed to Dexter, who was behind him. He didn’t want the situation to drag out. He intended to find ascapegoat to deal with the situation.

“What?” Dexter was left dumbfounded, his eyes wide with apprehension.

Dustin had just given him a good beating a few days ago, and now he had to face him again? How was that fair? “Don’t juststand there! Go, quickly!”
