Chapter 1181

An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1181

Seriously! Is this guy crazy? Is that how he talks to Lance?” “The kid is pretty rude, doesn’t he? He doesn’t seem to realize howserious the situation is.”

“Can you believe it? A martial artist from a small guild challenging the chief senior disciple of the Soul Reapers? He’s just lookingfor trouble!”

Dustin’s words caused a stir in the crowd. The martial artists were pointing and talking, and everyone stared at Dustin as if hewere a fool. They wondered if it would be wiser to back down in the face of such a capable fighter as Lance.

Dustin could have shown some respect and used polite words, even if it made him uncomfortable. That would have been saferthan provoking Lance when he clearly couldn’t win.

“What's going through that guy’s mind?”

Josie frowned. She didn’t want to escalate the situation, but Dustin's words had only made things worse. It wasn’t her problemanymore. But now, the reputation and honor of the Soul Reapers was at stake.

“Mr. Rhys, he’s the Soul Reapers’ chief senior disciple. We can’t afford to offend him. You better apologize, or we'll be in serioustrouble,” Lyn whispered. She was visibly worried.

Dealing with Josie was difficult enough for them. Now that the fearsome Lance was involved, it would only get worse.

“Kid, what did you just say? | didn’t quite catch it. Can you repeat that?” Lance’s eyes narrowed, and his expression darkened. No one had shown him such disrespect since he became famous.

“You didn’t hear me? Alright, I'll say it again,” Dustin replied calmly. “I said, even your leader, Graham Thorne, wouldn’t dare talkto me like that. Who do you think you are?”

Upon hearing that, Lyn visibly paled. They were now in a predicament from which there was no way out. “Hey! Are you insane, kid? Are you trying to get us killed?” Even the overly confident Toddy was shocked. After his fight, he realized the stark differencebetween major and minor guilds.

“Looks like he won’t get it until he feels the pain,” Josie shook her head. She knew Dustin’s words not only humiliated Lance butalso infuriated the entire Soul Reapers.

“Brat! You're asking for it!” Lance couldn’t restrain himself any longer. He pounced on Dustin and wanted to tear him to pieceswith his hands in front of everyone.

In the face of the sudden attack, Dustin remained composed and shot a silver needle with a flick of his finger.

As Lance charged forward, he felt a sudden numbness in his knee. His body involuntarily tumbled to the ground. It put him in anextremely embarrassing situation.

“What?”

Everyone was shocked and trying to process the sudden turn of events. No one had expected the highly regarded chief seniordisciple of the Soul Reaper to fall in front of everyone. How embarrassing.novelbin

“Lance, what are you doing?” Josie’s lips twitched with an awkward expression. Lance stood up, looking disheveled. Upon closerinspection, he discovered a silver needle lodged in his knee.

“Damn it!” He pulled out the needle and crushed it. He glared angrily at Dustin. “You actually dare to fuck with me?”

“If you come at me again, | won't hold back,” Dustin said calmly. “Fuck you! You're going to pay for this, Lance roared infrustration. Somebody bring me my spear!”
