Chapter 1069

“Oh, I’m here to visit General Murray,” Dustin answered with a smile. Vivian looked at him disdainfully and commented, “Hmph! What a suck-up!”

Ever since the band-aid incident, she had a grudge against Dustin. But she had to admit that he was pretty skilled. That wasbecause Vivian found out she had lung cancer after being shot and hospitalized.

Fortunately, they detected the cancer in time. With Vivian's family’s wealth, she got the best treatments, and her conditionstabilized.

Meanwhile, Sheila’s attention was on Dustin. “My grandfather has gone out to attend to some matters. He won't be back for awhile. “Why don’t you come in for coffee first? | have some questions to ask you, too.”novelbin

Without waiting for Dustin’s response, Sheila immediately dragged him into the Murray residence. She finally got the chance toget close to him. So, Sheila would not let him go.

“Sheila, didn’t we agree to practice horseback riding?” Vivian reminded. “Oh, you’re right! | got so excited that | forgot about it.”

Sheila looked at Dustin and asked cautiously, “Dustin, there’s a horse ranch at the hill behind my house. Why don’t you hang outwith us while waiting for him?

“When my grandfather returns, I'll take you you?” to meet him. Is that fine with “Sure.” Dustin nodded in response. After all, hedid not want to ruin her mood.

“That’s great. Come on! Let’s go!” Sheila exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. She turned around and led the group to the hill atthe back of the Murray residence.

“Evan, just look at how happy Sheila is. It seems like she’s interested in this man. You better be careful,” Vivian lowered hervoice and warned Evan.

Evan looked at Dustin with contempt. He sneered, “Hmph! He’s just a martial artist without power or status. He’s not worthy ofSheila!

“Even if she likes him, the Murray family would never agree. It’s because they're from different worlds. “No matter how hard hetries, he’ll never get into our social circle.”

“That’s true.” Vivian nodded noncommittally. She knew Dustin's martial arts skills were impressive. He also possessed someknowledge in the field of medicine.

But these two expertise alone were not enough. Sheila was Christopher’s beloved granddaughter. So, there were three criteriaher future husband must meet.

First, he must come from an influential family. Secondly, he has to be full of potential. And lastly, he must have exceptional skills.Dustin was just an ordinary person. So, he did not meet those criteria.

The Murray residence was huge. Within a ten-mile radius, there were mountains and rivers. Everything in that area was theirs..The group walked for over ten minutes. Finally, they arrived at the private horse ranch. It was located at the foot of the hill.

There were over a hundred horses on the horse ranch. Moreover, most of the horses were of high-quality breeds. Anyone fromthe Murray family could train or race horses there. Some talented youngsters of the family would also have the privilege of beingpaired with valuable horses.

Sheila was familiar with the surroundings. She called over the stable manager and led everyone into the stable. They weregetting ready to choose which horse they would ride.

The stable was large and had numerous stalls with horses. Since the workers cleaned the stable regularly, it was spotless. Theycould even smell a hint of grassy and woody aroma.

“Dustin, what do you think of this horse?” Sheila asked as she led him to a white horse. The white horse was around five feet tall.It had a well-rounded and graceful body with a slender neck and limbs. It also had a shiny coat.

The horse moved with a light, elegant gait. It looked majestic. “Not bad. It’s truly a fine horse,” Dustin nodded with admiration.

“Hehe! This is Gale, and he’s my ride. Whenever I’m free, I'll come by to visit him.” As Sheila spoke, she reached out to strokethe horse’s face. “Dustin, don’t underestimate Gale. He’s a prized horse.”

“Every time my family hosts horse races, Gale never loses. He’s always the champion!” Shelia’s eyes lit up. As soon as Sheilasaid that, a voice came from the stable entrance.

“Never loses? Well, today, I’ll be the winner!”
