Abel could not see through his tears. He had lost some weight, making his features more prominent.“When is Emma coming back?” Abel choked on his voice.

Abel woke up early the next day. Kendra was making breakfast in the kitchen.
“Mr. Abel, did you have a good sleep?” Kendra saw dark circles under Abel’s eyes.
