The three brothers made a plan, and before dawn, Abel’s mercenaries surrounded the Ryker’sresidence.

“That’s wonderful!” Oscar grabbed Emmeline’s small hand. “You’re a girl, right?”
Emmeline was slightly surprised. Has this old man recognized me?
“I noticed you were a girl from the very beginning,” Oscar said. “I’ve been urging Abel to pursue you,but he wouldn’t listen and insisted on pursuing that Emmeline.”
