Doris was touched; she raised her glass with Waylon. She said, “Thanks. I have been troubling you.”

the meal.
They both drank a lot of wine, but neither of them got drunk. The night was getting darker, so Danieltook his leave.
“I will send you guys off.” Doris put on her jacket.
They passed by a basketball court along the way. People were playing on the court.
“Do you play basketball?” Waylon asked Daniel suddenly. They stood beside each other, and Danielwas shorter than Waylon.
“I played in college,” Daniel said drunkenly.
Waylon said playfully, “Shall we join them?”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. We are in suits and leather shoes.”
