Catherine handed her cell phone to Ronin beside her. “Did you transfer this?” Her business had beenhanded over to Ronin. She would only focus on the numbers and didn’t care how much it was.

Ronin glanced at it and burst out laughing. “Boss, how could I possibly transfer such a small amount toyou? It definitely wasn’t my doing! Even beggars wouldn’t transfer such a small amount of money.”

After saying that, Ronin quickly checked the information on the phone and tried to find out who hadtransferred the money.

When he saw the name on the screen, he froze for a moment and laughed awkwardly. Then, he lookedat Catherine and said, “Boss, please take what I just said as nonsense!”

Catherine took a glance at it, and the moment she saw Audrey’s name on the screen, she was alreadyclear in her heart. She got up, took her phone back from Ronin’s hand, and headed out.

Audrey couldn’t hide the excitement in her voice. She wanted to share her happiness with Catherine.“Kathy, I’m telling you, you can use this money as much as you want. Don’t worry about the money. “Catherine is now in an aristocratic school. She might need to spend more money so that people at theschool won’t look down on her.” Audrey knew the school where Catherine was going very well. After all,she had graduated from there as well.

Catherine hung up the phone and kept staring at the string of numbers on the screen with a puzzledexpression. Audrey was unaware of the fact that Catherine had read her contract.

That small amount of money was all she could get paid for the entire show, but Audrey gave Catherineall of it and even told Catherine that she only gave half of it.

Catherine heard the sound of footsteps from behind her, and by the sound of them, she knew who wasstanding behind her.

She had grown up around many different people. After so many years of changing, Ronin was the onlyone who stayed by her side. Vicente should have been the other one, but unfortunately, Vicente hadleft forever.
