Chapter 947

Jasper put away his phone and lay down on the bed, thinking about the wonderful time he hadspent with Evie. A faint smile appeared on his handsome face as he thought about the Anto family. He was determined to root out this disgusting and dirty nest.

At the International Pilot Finals, fans from all over the country had started lining up early to enter thevenue. While there were not as many spectators during the preliminary rounds, everyone wanted toknow who would be crowned champion in this highly anticipated final.

The competition had been going on for a long time now, and it remained popular among viewersboth at the event and online. Many netizens were watching live broadcasts of the competition eventhough they couldn't be there in person.

As it was a final match, several big celebrities from show business had been invited to perform asguests. They started with an opening dance that livened up the atmosphere before moving onto anair hostess uniform show featuring flight attendants from various countries who possessed fair skin, beautiful looks and long legs that left everyone awestruck.

After ending their opening act which helped ease some of tension surrounding such a high-stakescompetition; The host then took center stage delivering an emotional speech before inviting Brian togive his own address.

Brian was internationally renowned for being one of aviation's biggest names; although hiscompany's representative ranked second place in terms of performance but still stood a chance atwinning first place - making him one of top contenders for victory.

Franklin sat coldly in his seat while observing Brian speak empty words that lacked any realmeaning or substance whatsoever; causing most people listening to feel drowsy so early in morning- Wasn't this supposed to be an encouraging speech? It felt more like a lullaby!

Sylvia yawned boredly while glancing around at those nearby her noticing how no one seemedinterested anymore either - This scene reminded her too much of when she used listen her schoolprincipal's speeches back then... it all felt so familiar...

Brian didn't speak for very long however; soon enough he ended what could only have beendescribed as hypnotic rambling before being announced by their host that it was finally time forthem start competing officially!

The finals consisted solely of simulated flights where each participant donned white pilot shirtsadorned with golden shoulder patches symbolizing flying honor along with neatly tied necktiesentering into their respective cockpits readying themselves for action!novelbin

With controls identical to those found within actual planes combined with 360-degree immersiveenvironments affecting sight, sound and touch sensations alike- contestants could executetakeoffs/landings or change course mid-flight just like they would if they were actually pilotingaircrafts!

However, no one expected that they would be facing a simulation of the J-9 fighter jet! They werecivilian pilots, why were they being made to compete in fighter jets?

Who decided on this competition project anyway?

The J-9 fighter jet has a minimum takeoff distance of 315 meters, a speed of over 280 kilometersper hour, landing speed of 300 kilometers per hour, and requires 400 meters for an empty runwayand 640 meters for a full load.

The cockpit is very complex with various dazzling devices and instruments such as airspeedindicators, altimeters, vertical speed indicators... etc.

Combined with some primary control systems and auxiliary equipment, it's just too complicated.

Although everyone was panicking, Michaelis remained calm. He operated smoothly according to thecontent he had studied in advance. The simulated situations they faced included strong winds, heavy rainstorms difficult blizzards as well as some strange scenarios involving wind rain snow hail!

As for Brogan... he finally managed to take off during the simulation but immediately encounteredrainy snowy weather. Just when he dealt with the rain and snow it was followed by hailstones thenstrong winds...

Many spectators couldn't help but sweat profusely for him. When they saw his perfect responseeveryone breathed a sigh of relief.

Some pilots didn't even know how to operate properly so many failed miserably.

This situation left him overwhelmed. By the end of the simulation his back was already drenched insweat. He walked out from inside the simulator looking like he had just been fished out from water.

Fortunately SouthStar Airlines' pilot training program covers many different areas including fighterjets so they all barely managed to complete this simulated flight competition.

When everyone came out there was immediately enthusiastic applause on site especially sincemany fans audience members including professionals thought that Brogan performed exceptionallywell this time around - really great!

Some people have already started guessing that Brogan will definitely be crowned champion.

The host first said that all participants worked hard then arranged for a singing performance whichmade everyone impatiently wait even longer especially anxious wanting to know who would comefirst place...

But after finishing singing there was actually another dance performance!

In video software live chat rooms there were waves upon waves cursing.

"What's going on? We've been waiting forever! Why aren't you announcing results?"

"I don't want to watch dancing or singing!"

"Hurry up and announce it! It must be SouthStar Airlines!"

However, what no one expected was that the champion was actually Michaelis.

The host also seemed stunned for a moment, but he quickly reacted. "The big screen shows thatour champion is Michaelis! Everyone, let's give her a round of applause!"

But the audience on site was shocked and puzzled. The applause did not come as expected.

Michaelis took big strides onto the stage and stood in the position of the champion. Then it wasBrogan who got second place, and another contestant who got third place.

SouthStar Airlines only received a team championship because their average score was muchhigher than other companies from other countries.

Franklin frowned slightly. This wasn't normal at all; it was very abnormal.

Brogan's performance had been much more perfect than Michaelis's, so why had she been judgedas first place?

The noble and cold man slightly opened his thin lips. "I protest; this result is very unfair."

After hearing this, Brian smiled wickedly. "Mr. Maskelyne, can't you guys take all of thechampionships? We're not bad either; I think you're just feeling unbalanced."

"I'm going to apply for re-judgment," Franklin said firmly. "I am also a judge here; I have the right toapply for re-judgment even though it is computer-generated results we are dealing with here."

Brian's face darkened momentarily before he laughed again while shrugging his shoulders. "Youcan apply if you want! You can do whatever you like! Computer judgment is fairer than anything elsesince all programs are based on its standards when evaluating performances like these... are thereany problems with your head now Mr. Maskelyne?" He pointed at Franklin's head while speaking inan attempt to mock him further.

Naked pride mixed with humiliation filled Franklin's heart. "No need! I've already figured out whathappened." Just then, a clear female voice suddenly rang out.

Everyone looked over in shock – who could speak such words at this time?

Only to see that on the front row seat of audience stands suddenly stood up an elegant figure.

What a beautiful woman!

She looked so stunning that people almost couldn't breathe upon seeing her – they simply couldn'tmove their gaze away from her.

Her facial features were delicate with fair skin tone which gave off an icy temperament - her auramade people feel both frightened yet intrigued at once .

She raised her smart tablet and directly cast it onto the big screen. Everyone could see everythingon her tablet screen. Brian's face suddenly changed as he stared at Sylvia's beautiful face. It was

this woman again! His own daughter fell into the hands of this woman.

And now, she was causing trouble here!

His face turned dark and his voice almost squeezed out from between his teeth, "Miss Andrews, what do you mean by this?"

"Oh, nothing much," Sylvia replied with moist red lips. "I just discovered that someone tamperedwith the scoring system for this flight simulation competition ahead of time. This is the backend ofthe scoring system, which shows that it was modified half an hour ago."

"You... how can you say that this image is from our system? How is that possible? You're just usinga tablet!" Brian didn't understand computers but he knew they were more powerful than tablets.

"Who said a tablet couldn't connect to a computer system backend? I don't know about others', butmine can." Sylvia switched between screens on her tablet as she spoke. "Everyone please take alook at this - it shows the modification time. After modification, targeted scoring will be directedtowards Michaelis's player position."

Everyone was shocked by what they saw.

Unbelievable!

"This kind of international competition actually cheats?"

"So arrogant! We must investigate thoroughly!"

"Yes! Yes!"

"Although I don't understand computers well, I believe what she says."

"Is what she says true? It feels like magic."

Even Franklin didn't expect Sylvia to solve things so quickly.

"After modifying the system who benefits from it should be clear to everyone," Franklin sneeredcoldly and looked at Brian with icy eyes. "So tell me - do you have anything else to explain?"

Brian became angry and embarrassed and growled lowly. "I don't know anything about it! I have noidea!"

But then came in charge of organizing international competitions who panicked as he got up onstage trying to calm down both angry audience members and Franklin's team. "We will investigateimmediately until we get all facts straightened out." He then turned towards Sylvia, asking, "How didyou hack into our systems?"

"Does how I hacked in really matter?" asked Sylvia raising an eyebrow.

"Since you were able to hack in, who knows if the system was maliciously altered by you, just sothat Michaelis would miss out on the championship!" Brian suddenly shouted as if she had hit upona crucial point. "It must have been her doing! She's trying to shift the blame onto someone else. She's Franklin's wife!"

Michaelis also snapped out of her shock and looked at everyone with a sense of injustice. "I don'tunderstand why I'm not qualified for the championship? Only SouthStar Airlines can be championsand they're okay with it?"
