Annalise was shocked beyond belief. Her hand was trembling when she pulled it back.

“Noah, what did you just call her?”

Annalise was still in a daze, but before she could get her answer, she was shoved to one side by Noah.

Madeline saw that Annalise had let go of her, so she continued walking, but her hand was abruptlygrabbed by Noah.

“My wife, you’re hurt!”

“This is none of your business.” Madeline wanted to retrieve her hand impatiently, but she was stoppedby the adamant Noah.

“What do you mean? You’re my wife. No one in this world will care about you as much as I do.” Noahheld Madeline’s arm tenderly, and his brows were knitted into a frown. He was checking on her armwith great concern and he appeared to be very nervous.

“Noah, your fiancée is still right here, do you realize that? Do you think it makes sense to put up such afake front?” Madeline stared at Noah with disappointment in her eyes.

She could not figure out her feelings sometimes. She should be facing him without any emotion, butwhen Noah entered her field of vision, she couldn’t help but feel wronged.

She even wanted to cry.

“Mr. Quincy, Ms. Solace here claimed that she’s your fiancée. She brought her men and came to ourassociation and exerted violence. The proof is right in front of you.” Albert put in a timely comment toflame the fire.

“Ms. Madeline’s arm was hurt precisely by your fiancée’s assistant.”

Albert dragged Liam, who was howling on the floor, to his feet and added even more evidence to thewhole argument. He was doing that to see how Noah would respond.

If Mr. Quincy’s heart was with another woman, Albert would not let him continue to mistreat her.

“Wayne!”

“Go ask him which hand he has used to hurt Madeline. You know what to do.”

Wayne was watching the whole thing like a bystander, and he was so anxious that he felt like he mustdo something.

Who were those people? They had come to harm Mr. and Mrs. Quincy’s relationship, not to mentionactually hurting Mrs. Quincy physically.

Now, he had a chance to show what he could do. He must stand up for Mr. and Mrs. Quincy!

Seeing that Wayne was approaching him, Liam immediately clambered to beg for forgiveness.

“No! Don’t come near me! Ms. Solace, save me now!”

Despite his cry for help, Wayne did not even interrogate him as he proceeded to break both of hisarms.

Then, he turned around to report to Noah, “Sir, I reckon that he has lost his mind because of the shock.There’s no need to ask him whether he has used his left or right hand to hurt Madeline.”

“Noah, are you saying that this woman is your wife?” When Annalise saw Wayne giving Liam somepunishment, anger immediately rose in her heart. However, she couldn’t just have an outburst of angerin front of Noah, so she pretended to be ignorant about the situation.

“Yes, she is indeed my wife. I wonder how you have offended my wife, Ms. Solace?”

“It’s… it’s a misunderstanding, I won’t mind…” Annalise thought that Noah was apologizing on behalf ofMadeline, so she wanted to take this opportunity to allow

Naturally, she knew that Noah had married some woman and even had a child, but rumor said that itwas just some random woman who hailed from the countryside.

Annalise could not even get her hands on any information on Madeline because allegedly, Madelinewas so low profile that no information on her could be found!

Madeline must have used some dirty method to make Noah marry her!

It would be likely that Noah could someday break up with her!

She was confident that someone as talented and wise as Noah would never fail to recognize whichwoman would be the best one for him!

There was endless affection in his eyes at the moment. It was a sight to be envious of.

“Noah, you’re really being unfair. I am the one getting bullied here, yet you’re treating me like this justbecause she is your wife!”

“Annalise, dear, do you even hear yourself? He is my husband, of course, he would be biased in myfavor. Don’t you think that’s only normal? How can you be so

Annalise obviously felt that she didn’t have the upper hand anymore. There was no reason for her tostay, so it was in her best interest to leave as quickly as she could.

“Ms. Solace, you are the one who broke the rules first. You have caused damage to the association,but you’re trying to just walk off. Do you think I would let you do that?”

“That’s on you! You’ve brought it on yourself!”

“I commend you for having good taste since you’ve set your eyes on my husband. You cancompensate for the damage according to the market price, I won’t pursue that. However, if you don’tagree to that, we will settle it in the police station.”

“Are you threatening me now?”

“That barely held any threatening power. In fact, I am going to threaten “What?”
