Chapter 2778 Ran Away

Jared felt relieved when the Three Bandits told him they had found another exit. Even if the menfrom the Nesser family came in, he could still get out of there safely.

“I'll pluck another heavenly thunder fruit and we're pulling out. The strength of the heavenly thunderfrom the heavenly thunder tree is ridiculous!” Jared said.

His body couldn't withstand another series of heavenly thunder strikes from the heavenly thundertree anymore.

Taking in Jared's charred body, Salazar couldn't help asking, “Mr. Chance, can your body take it?Please don't put your life at risk!”

He didn't want Jared to die because the three of them would suffer the same fate.

“What nonsense are you talking about, Salazar? Mr. Chance will surely be okay!” Crixusreprimanded Salazar before turning to Jared. “Mr. Chance, you look like you've reached your limit.Don't force yourself!”

“Don't worry. I'll be fine.” Jared moved toward the heavenly thunder tree once again.novelbin

Before Jared could reach the heavenly thunder fruits, he was struck by the heavenly thunder tree.

He gritted his teeth and endured the pain as he grabbed one of the heavenly thunder fruits beforeplucking it off the tree.

Boom!

Right after Jared plucked the heavenly thunder fruit, he was struck by another bolt of lightning.

This time around, Jared was flung away into the distance like a kite with a broken thread and landedheavily on the ground.

“Mr. Chance!”

The Three Bandits rushed toward Jared.

“Let's retreat! We need to leave now,” Jared instructed the Three Bandits.

At that point, Jared appeared to be extremely weak.

Seeing that, the Three Bandits hurriedly carried Jared and ran toward the other exit.

Meanwhile, the people outside the cave were still resting, and the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk wasn'tattacking anyone. Both parties seemed to be minding their own business.

Soon, however, the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk that was resting on a tree suddenly widened its eyes.

It let out a shriek and rose into the air.

Jolted in surprise, Cameron immediately got ready to fight the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk.

To Cameron's surprise, the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk flapped its wings and flew into the caveinstead of launching an attack.

Cameron was baffled when he saw the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk flying into the cave in a state ofpanic. What is the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk doing?

Tyrone felt trouble was on the horizon when he saw the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk flying into thecave. Jared is still plucking the heavenly thunder fruits. If the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk flies in, hewill be doomed. I won't be able to share the heavenly thunder fruits with him anymore!

Tyrone shot the elderly woman a look, and they both dashed into the cave.

A sense of foreboding crept into Cameron's heart when he saw Tyrone going after the BloodthirstyThunderhawk. He led his men into the cave as well.

After they followed the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk into Hawk King Cave, they saw the heavenlythunder tree, and most of the cultivators were in awe.

Instead of stopping on the heavenly thunder tree, the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk flew in anotherdirection.

Everyone at the scene was bewildered upon seeing the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk flying away. What's going on? What is the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk doing? Why is it not guarding the heavenlythunder tree?

Despite having those questions in their minds, none of them bothered to go after the BloodthirstyThunderhawk because they spotted the heavenly thunder fruits.

Tyrone grew anxious when he couldn't find Jared and the Three Bandits in the cave.

Seeing that only seven heavenly thunder fruits were left, Tyrone cursed, “F*ck! I've been tricked! That fellow ran away with three heavenly thunder fruits!”

Cameron soon noticed there were fewer heavenly thunder fruits left on the tree and realized whyTyrone had been stalling outside the cave.
