Chapter 2776 Hands Tied Up
It seemed that the heavenly thunder fruit had some sort of connection with Thunder Palm.
Will Thunder Palm become stronger if I eat this heavenly thunder fruit?
“Are you okay, Mr. Chance?” Crixus called out to him.
He got worried when he saw Jared standing there completely motionless.
“I'm fine!” Jared replied as he put the heavenly thunder fruit into his pocket and jumped out of thecrater.

“Well? Do you believe that I can pluck the heavenly thunder fruits on my own now? All you have todo is stall the guys from the Nesser family while I pluck as many heavenly thunder fruits aspossible. You saw how hard it was for me to get a single heavenly thunder fruit, so you shouldunderstand why I can't share it with you guys equally. You'll get three at most!” Jared said to Tyroneand the old woman.
In reality, Jared wasn't even planning on giving them any of the heavenly thunder fruits. He onlysaid all that to earn their trust.
Besides, Jared knew full well that it would be impossible for him to get all ten heavenly thunderfruits even with his tough physical body and Golem Body.
The lightning bolts would surely have him reduced to ashes if he were to go for all ten heavenlythunder fruits.
Tyrone stared at Jared for a few seconds before shifting his gaze toward the old woman. “All right,we'll settle for three, but you need to pick up the pace. I don't think we'll be able to hold Cameron off
for long!”
Tyrone knew that they could only stall Cameron through lies as they were no match for him at all. Asingle slap from Cameron could very well kill them on the spot.
Even so, they would not be able to stall Cameron for long with their lies, so they needed Jared to bequick about it as well.
“Don't worry!” Jared replied with a nod.
Tyrone then led the old woman out the cave.
“Are you sure you can trust Tyrone, Mr. Chance? There's no way he'd let you leave if you ended upseverely wounded by the lightning bolts!” Crixus warned Jared.
Jared's lips curled into a smile as he replied, “There's no way I'd trust him! I will never let him havethe heavenly thunder fruits. I want you three to search for other ways out of this cave. I doubtThunderhawk's cave has only one exit! If you guys manage to find another exit, I'll flee through itafter getting the heavenly thunder fruits!”
Salazar nodded when he found out that Jared had come up with a plan. They then split up andstarted searching the cave for another exit.
Jared took a deep breath and jumped up the heavenly thunder tree again.
Meanwhile, the massacre continued outside Hawk King Cave.
In order to keep the cultivators out of Hawk King Cave, the demon beasts attacked them witheverything they had.
Cameron was engaged in a fierce battle with the huge Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk, and they wereboth evenly matched for the time being.
As no one noticed Tyrone and the old woman coming out of the cave, they quickly joined the battle.
This time, however, they secretly told the cultivators, whom Tyrone had brought from the airship, toconserve their strength in case the Nesser family's men tried to hog the heavenly thunder fruits forthemselves.
As Tyrone was the one who brought them over, they believed him readily and began holding backon their attacks to conserve their strength.
Only the men from the Nesser family were giving it their all while fighting the demon beasts.
Realizing that he could not kill the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk swiftly, Cameron shouted, “Mr. Stone,come give me a hand with two of your men! Let's kill this Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk together!”
“Hang in there, Mr. Nesser! We've got our hands tied up here as well!” Tyrone shouted back at him.
