The next morning, Yuven was woken up by a loud commotion. and he was displeased.
“Who's making all the noise outside? I can't sleep for—”
“Bad news, Your Majesty!” Julius rushed into Yuven's chamber in a panic.

“What?” Yuven sprang up from the bed when he heard that. “Is Xandros the only one leading thearmy? Is King Lucian with him?”
“I didn't see King Lucian. Tigerus is holding off the attackers with the royal guards!”
Yuven sighed in relief. “It's been over two years since a conflict of this scale took place. What isXandros trying to do? There's no way he can defeat us without his father's aid.” I don't believe hecan take down Imperial Beast City on his own with an army! If he can, then it's time for someoneelse to take my place!
“What's happening, Father?” asked Ivasha after she was woken up by the noise outside too.
“Xandros is attacking Imperial Beast City with his army,” Yuven answered.
“What? Is he crazy? Is it because I refused to marry him?” Ivasha was shocked because she didn'texpect Xandros to be that bold.
“Let's save the speculation for later and check out the situation for now. If Xandros is attackingrashly because of a grudge, then I'll punish him a little and forget about it. However, if this issomething he has been planning for a long while, and his father is aware of it, then it's an officialdeclaration of war between our two cities!”
Yuven hurriedly headed toward the gate with Ivasha.
At that moment, outside the humongous gate, Xandros was leading an army of soldiers andgenerals from above an elephant more than ten meters tall.
Tigerus was leading the royal guards, standing by and staring at the army before them.

Xandros cackled and mocked, “Do you really think you can me? Can't you see I've surroundedImperial Beast City with my army?”
