Chapter 2699 Betray His Own Kin

“W-What's going on?”

Faiyar couldn't understand why Jared's demonic fire had turned into two colors and why it wasdifferent from his own flames.

But before Faiyar could make sense of it, the two flames around Jared instantly merged together, forming an immensely gigantic Circle of Duality that pressed down on Faiyar.

“Dual Flames of Infinity? H-How do you know our ultimate technique?”

Faiyar was completely bewildered. After all, stealing a ball of flame from the Inferno Devil's elder'sdemonic fire was possible for many, but mastering the Inferno Devil's ultimate technique was notsomething just anyone could achieve.

Yet, Jared had just shown him that he, too, knew the Inferno Devils' ultimate technique. Faiyar wasutterly dumbfounded. How on earth did he learn that?

If Faiyar knew that Jared had just learned the technique from witnessing his attack, he wouldprobably be infuriated.

While Faiyar was still in a daze, Jared's Dual Flames of Infinity had already descended upon him.

The immense and terrifying power struck Faiyar's head in an instant.

“Argh!”

He felt intense pain in his head, and his whole body was engulfed in an uncomfortable scorchingheat far more powerful than his own demonic fire.novelbin

At that critical moment, Faiyar desperately activated his internal spiritual energy to resist while hisown demonic fire burned fiercely, trying to stop the force of the Dual Flames of Infinity.

Seeing that, Jared frowned slightly, and several strands of flames shot from his palms, enhancingthe power of the Circle of Duality and raising the might of the Dual Flames of Infinity once again.

“Argh!”

Another agonizing cry came out of Faiyar's mouth as he was instantly overwhelmed. His bodyburned ferociously.

Jared could clearly see Faiyar's body gradually turning into ashes. Even his sturdy skull had beenreduced to nothing.

However, just as Jared let out a sigh of relief, a flame shot up into the air.

“Jared, just you wait! Our demonic fire never extinguishes, and our divine forms never perish.”

The roaring flame quickly fled.

Seeing that, Jared exerted force under his feet and instantly caught up with the fleeing flame.Having gone through the trouble of killing Faiyar, he would never let him escape. He wasdetermined to make sure the opponent's divine form was destroyed.

“You can't escape. Stay and become part of my resources.”

Jared caught up with the flame and reached out, directly seizing it in his palm.

No matter how the flame struggled, it could not escape.

Since Jared also possessed demonic fire, he did not feel any burning sensation at all while holdingthe flame.

In Jared's palm, Jared's own demonic fire started rising to envelop Faiyar's flame. Then, it beganabsorbing and refining it.

Faiyar was completely flustered. If his primordial demonic fire was absorbed and refined, he wouldlose any chance of resurrection.

“Jared, I belong to the Inferno Devil lineage. You can't kill me. Our people won't spare you. Don'tassume that we Demonic Cultivators are despised by all. We're a powerful lineage in the EtherealRealm. Let me go, and I promise not to make an enemy of you again.”

Faiyar was pleading Jared to spare his life.

However, Jared remained completely indifferent as his demonic fire continued to absorb and refineFaiyar's flame.

Realizing that Jared was not afraid at all, Faiyar grew desperate. He began to reveal the secrets ofthe Inferno Devils, hoping it might save his life.

“While you possess the Inferno Devil's elder's Flame of Sanctitude, it's too little. Your demonic firewon't become powerful. You must continue to absorb the demonic fire of others. I can help you withthat. Without my help, you won't be able to find any Demonic Cultivators from the Inferno Devillineage.”

To save himself, Faiyar had no choice but to betray his own kin.
