Jared continued evading her attacks and asked in confusion, “What are you doing? Are you beingungrateful?”
He was taken by surprise as he did not expect Viola to have woken up already, let alone attack himimmediately upon waking. Last but not least, he couldn't fathom why she was targeting him.

Hearing Ghaylen's name, Viola halted in her tracks and shot Jared a baffled look. “Who are you?Where is Mr. Samoll? Why isn't he here?”
Breathing heavily, Jared managed to explain, “I'm Jared Chance, a disciple of Mr. Samoll. I treatedyour condition, which allowed you to wake up. Mr. Samoll is still at his residence and didn'taccompany me. I came here to check on you.”
Viola studied Jared with a hint of nervousness, showing that she still had doubts about his words.
“You treated me? There's no way Mr. Samoll would allow a disciple to treat me. You're lying throughyour teeth. Who exactly are you?” she demanded.
After carefully observing Jared for a moment, Viola resumed her attack, aiming to restrain himbefore interrogating him about his identity.
Despite her sudden attacks, Jared was well-prepared. He reached out to seize Viola's wrist.
Viola might be a Top Level Manifestor, but she was no match for Jared.
Panic surged through her as soon as Jared's firm grip closed around her wrist. Though she tried topull away, his hold was unyielding, leaving her immobilized.

Viola's glare burned with anger as she confronted Jared. She was convinced that he couldn't be adisciple of Ghaylen, as none of them had ever surpassed her in strength.
“If I let you go, you have to promise not to attack me again. I've already told you the truth. Whywon't you believe me? I didn't take advantage of you. Can't you sense if someone has donesomething like that? If nothing works, why don't you feel with your own hands if your most valuablething is still intact? That way, you'll know I'm telling the truth!” Jared snapped impatiently.
Viola's cheeks turned pink. “You pervert!”
She knew what Jared was talking about. He wanted her to feel for herself if her hymen was stillintact. It was clear he was a pervert as he told her to do that without feeling ashamed!
Jared was speechless. He had no idea how to explain himself.
Right then, footsteps sounded outside. Ghaylen's figure soon appeared.
He was surprised to see Viola awake. “Ms. Viola, you're awake?”
