“I think you've gotten yourself into quite the muddle. Since you've saved us, we can't just sit hereidly. We will follow you there,” said the Grand Elder of Divine Smithing Sect.

After all, they were still strangers in a foreign realm. If trouble befell them, they could not handlethings so easily since they were not back in Ethereal Realm.

All we have to do is follow Jared there and help him sort out his affairs. Jared can then open theportal and send us back to the Ethereal Realm. It's not a bad idea!

The rescued prisoners nodded in agreement. They were also willing to accompany Jared theresince they did not have the capabilities to open a portal to Ethereal Realm either.

“Well, that's not a bad idea. When I've sorted out my affairs, I'll send you all back.”

Jared nodded. Right now, he was in dire need of help. Jared was concerned about how hard it wasgoing to be to deal with Evil Heart Sect. Even with Quindon and some others offering assistancefrom the inside, Jared had no confidence in a confrontation with someone as powerful as Tanner.

Now that the elder of Divine Smithing Sect and some others had chosen to help him, Jared hadthus gained a few allies.

However, there was something Jared did not understand. This was a dungeon belonging to EvilHeart Sect. Why was it chock-full of people from Ethereal Realm? How did they even end up here?This was a mystery to Jared.

Just as they departed from the secret realm, the people from Ethereal Realm could immediately feelthe suppression from the laws of nature. Every one of them had a frown on their face, with somelooking quite pained.

Fortunately, after leaving the secret realm of Evil Heart Sect, they quickly arrived at the entrance toDivine Quest Sect's secret realm. As Jared brought his party into the secret realm, Malphasfollowed closely behind. Given that Jared had yet to remove the imprint from Malphas' mind, thelatter could only follow them.

Tanner said nothing, but his lips were curved up in a faint smirk. This only served to make Quindonand the others even more terrified.

Very soon, Jared and his entourage arrived in a frenzy. However, when Jared saw the scene beforehim, his expression turned grave.

Jared had been wondering why he never encountered many members of Evil Heart Sect in theirsecret realm earlier. It turned out that they were all whisked away to the secret realm of DivineQuest Sect. There had to be a few hundred of them all neatly lined up in rows.

Standing at the forefront was none other than Tanner, dressed in all black. His very figure seemedto be looming over everyone.

Behind Tanner were the six purple-robed emissaries. Jared stole a glance at them but immediatelyretracted his gaze after that.

Quindon, who also stood among the Evil Heart Sect members, saw that his daughter was withJared. He then knew that Jared had saved his family.

However, Jared had brought Aislin, which made Quindon quite upset. Quindon assumed that Jaredwas using Aislin to threaten him in case he chose not to stand with Jared later when the time came.

“You've finally arrived, Jared. I've been waiting for ages now,” said Skylar icily.

Jared only glanced at Skylar but chose to ignore him. His gaze, however, was pinned squarely onTanner.

To Jared, Tanner was his true adversary. Skylar, on the other hand, was nothing but an ant.

“Where is my girlfriend? What about the others?” asked Jared icily.

Tanner did not respond. He merely stood still with an unfathomable expression on his face.
