Jared bobbed his head. When Malphas passed through the arcane array earlier, there was afluctuation in the spiritual energy. That was when Jared noticed the existence of the arcane array.
The arcane array was indeed powerful, but Jared was not afraid of it. He wore a calm expressionand a smile as he walked through the arcane array. There was a fluctuation in the spiritual energybefore Jared disappeared into the arcane array.
Malphas looked incredibly serious as he watched Jared disappear. There was no doubt Jared wastrapped in the arcane array, which meant the latter would not be able to stop Malphas if he were toabscond right there and then.

Malphas was drowning in anxiety, but the same could not be said for the man in the arcane array.He could not be calmer as he studied the arcane array carefully. Although the arcane array wasincredible, it was nothing to Jared.
With one glance, Jared found its core. Destroying the arcane array had become much easier nowthat the core was found.
After about ten minutes, Jared successfully destroyed the first arcane array, and he stepped out ofthe area shortly after.
Malphas' face lit up when he saw Jared coming out of the arcane array after destroying it. As longas Jared was alive, the former did not have to die.
When Jared realized Malphas was still standing at the same spot, he was surprised.
“Why didn't you run away when I was trapped in the arcane array?” asked Jared.
“What's the point? You left a mark on my mind. If I ran away, you'd definitely set off the mark andblast my brains,” explained Malphas honestly.
Jared smiled at what he heard. He knew Malphas had considered running away, but the lattersimply chose to stay after weighing the pros and cons.
“I'm glad you know where you stand. Well, I'll spare you if you bring me into the dungeon,” saidJared.
“I can take you there, but it's not that easy to get in. There are special guards all over the place, andtheir leader is of higher status than I am in Evil Heart Sect. I can't order him around, so you'll haveto figure your way into the dungeon. As for the purpose of going in, you don't have to tell me aboutit. In fact, I don't want to know about it,” said Malphas.
“The dungeon has special guards?”
