Claus' body was sent flying backward before crashing heavily onto the ground.
“My son!” Shocked, Brad quickly went after him.
Santiago stared at Jared in astonishment, his eyes widening in disbelief. He had no inkling thatJared had attained such extraordinary strength. Though Claus was not the most formidable youngmartial artist, he still possessed considerable skill. Yet, Jared effortlessly sent him hurtling throughthe air without even bothering to direct his gaze toward him. It was a clear testament to Jared'sexceptional prowess.

“My son! Oh, my son! I will kill everyone here!” Brad's anguished cry reverberated throughout thearea. The sheer intensity of his aura was so overwhelming that it caused the nearby houses totremble and shake.
Santiago and the others rushed outside, only to be greeted by a harrowing sight. Claus laymotionless on the ground, his lifeless body covered in blood as his eyes stared blankly into thedistance.

Slowly, a black mark appeared in the middle of Brad's forehead. The entire sky turned dark as blackmist filled the sky.
Brad's clothes were ripped apart as a purple robe emerged on his body. His face became blurry asa black mist descended on his head.
“A purple-robed emissary?” Jared's lips curved when he noticed Brad's outfit. “Perfect. Today, I shallsettle the long-standing grudge between me and the Evil Heart Sect once and for all.”
“Jared, don't be arrogant. You're only alive at the moment because the Spiritual Energy RestorationFormation needs you. Once the formation is activated, and your divine soul is used as sacrifice,you'll suffer a fate worse than death.”
Brad glared at Jared coldly, his entire being shrouded in the black mist, looking like a devil.
“Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation?” Jared was confused, not knowing what he meant by thatformation.
Right then, Santiago explained, “The Spiritual Energy Restoration Formation has been in existencefor a considerable period. It was initially established by the leader of the Divine Quest Sect.However, before its activation, the entire Divine Quest Sect was mysteriously annihilated. Theactivation of this formation requires the participation of eight individuals with unique constitutions,combined with a unique incantation. I am unsure why the Evil Heart Sect possesses the capabilityto activate this formation.”
As Santiago's words sank in, Jared's mind quickly connected the dots and recalled the events thatunfolded in the Divine Quest Sect's secret realm.
Josephine and the others were trapped there with a few individuals possessing uniqueconstitutions. It suddenly dawned on Jared why the Evil Heart Sect was so desperate to capturethem all.
Furthermore, Jared himself possessed a unique constitution, making him a valuable target. Thememories of the stone statues within the cave of the secret realm resurfaced, and Jaredinstinctively knew that those statues must be related to the activation of the formation.
“It turns out that the Evil Heart Sect has been behind this elaborate scheme all along. They want toconquer the entire mundane world,” Jared said slowly.
“Ha! That isn't it. Our goal isn't just to conquer the mundane world,” Brad revealed with an icy snort.
“No matter what goal you have in mind, it won't succeed. Today will be the day you meet yourdoom,” Jared declared.
He slowly began to unleash his aura.
However, Jared's aura wasn't as strong as Brad's.
“I can't believe you have the audacity to challenge me,” Brad sneered.
He reached into the air, and the black mist turned into a hammer in his hand!
The hammer gave off a chilly vibe, seemingly able to freeze the air surrounding it.
