Chapter 2412 Are You Really Confident Of Victory

“How did it go, Jared? Have you come up with a plan yet?” Hailey anxiously asked when she sawthat Jared had returned.

If he can't do anything about it, Violet Cloud Palace will likely be doomed!

Santiago and Roanna likewise stared at Jared nervously. After all, no one wanted to die. If the manhad a solution, they would not have to resign themselves to death anymore.

Holding Hailey's hopeful gaze, Jared nodded and replied, “Don't worry. If Brad and Claus dare tocome tomorrow, I'll ensure they never leave here alive.”

“Are you really confident of victory, Jared?” Santiago queried, not quite daring to believe it.

“Of course. Since I've said as much, I certainly have the confidence to back it up!” Jared assertedconfidently.

At his confidence, relief suffused Santiago.

All that was left then was to await tomorrow's arrival.

When night fell, Santiago asked Jared to spend the night at Violet Cloud Palace. Meanwhile,Beatrice and the others stayed at the cave as there would be a battle tomorrow. Despite beingconfident of victory, Jared would never be able to forgive himself if his mother were to beaccidentally injured.

For that reason, he had Cecilia and the others protect her while he went to Violet Cloud Palace todeal with Brad and Claus, who would be coming tomorrow.

“Hailey, you're not young anymore. There are some things you need to understand. Although thereare many women around Jared, he's a rare talent. You've got to seize this opportunity. If he cannovelbin

really help Violet Cloud Palace to overcome this crisis, we should also repay him. Do you get whatyour mother and I are trying to say?”

Both Santiago and Roanna were trying to counsel Hailey.

Familiar with their daughter's temperament, they were worried that she would develop a sense ofaversion toward Jared after seeing that he had many women.

In response, Hailey nodded slowly. “Mom, Dad, I know what you both meant. Actually, I like him aswell.”

“Since you like him, you've got to be more proactive, silly. Tonight is a good time. If there were otherwomen around him, when do you think it'd be your turn? You've got no experience at all, and thatwill put you at a great disadvantage at that time,” Roanna quickly suggested.

Hailey's face turned crimson. Biting her lower lip hard, she abruptly shot to her feet and mumbled, “Iknow what to do now.”

After saying that, she left the room. Santiago and Roanna looked at each other and smiled.

Right then, Jared was lying in bed, devising a plan to deal with Brad and Claus tomorrow.

Out of the blue, his room door was lightly pushed open. On the heels of that, a feminine fragrancewafted into the air. Without having to look, he could tell who it was.

Feigning sleep, he closed his eyes.

Hailey walked up to Jared in her birthday suit. As she gazed down at the man, who was alreadyasleep, hesitation played on her face.

But in the end, she gritted her teeth and lay down beside him before slipping under his covers.

She rested her head against his chest. Only then did a sense of security engulf her.

Jared, on the other hand, enjoyed the scent of her feminine fragrance and the smoothness of hertender skin. Having had a taste of pleasure, he could no longer suppress the desire blazing withinhim.

Flipping over, he pinned her under him.

Panic swamped Hailey. Just when she was about to speak, Jared captured her lips.

“Ahh!”

A cry of pleasure rang out from Jared's room and reverberated around the entire Violet CloudPalace.

The instant Santiago and Roanna heard that, they could tell that it was their daughter's voice.

They both breathed a sigh of relief and swung their gazes in the direction of Jared's room.

The room glowed with a golden light so strong that it blanketed almost the whole Violet CloudPalace.

As Santiago gaped at the blinding golden light, amazement showed on his face.

“Jared is really something else. It seems that we made the right choice,” he murmured.

“Exactly! I could already tell at first glance that he was far from being a simple man!”

Roanna was all smiles, looking like a mother-in-law who was increasingly pleased with her son-in-law.
