Chapter 3015 Staring at her phone in disbelief, Melissa felt a surge of frustration.

The sky had darkened considerably since she first arrived at the scene, and the attendant from the dealership still waited expectantly.

Realizing she couldn't afford to make a bigger scene than this, Melissa reluctantly retrieved the card from the car and settled the bill.

The attendant's gaze lingered on her, filled with assumptions about her relationship with Marcus. To them, she was probably merely another woman kept by the wealthy CEO.

(Eagles) She was so favored, though.

It wasn't uncommon for a man to spend money on a woman. If he was willing to gift her his car though, it must mean he truly liked her.

Other colleagues cast longing glances at Melissa, their eyes filled with anticipation.

Feeling cornered, Melissa slid into the driver's seat and drove towards the Fowler Group.

Meanwhile, in Marcus's office at the Fowler Group, he worked quietly as Sylvia stood beside him. “Mr. Fowler, you have a Lunch appointment this noon.” “Cancel it. I have a lunch date,” he announced, leaving Sylvia momentarily puzzled.

A date? Sylvia, unaware of the situation, blinked but refrained from asking.

Marcus then spoke calmly. “Melissa will be here soon.” As Marcus mentioned Melissa's impending arrival, Sylvia pieced together the situation.

Melissa's unexpected visit indicated her displeasure with Marcus, and Sylvia couldn't help but feel sympathy for her colleague. The fact that Melissa was coming right now meant she was really pissed off at Marcus.

Ten minutes passed before Melissa pulled up in front of the Fowler Group building.

Pausing before stepping out of the car, she found herself gazing at the crystal pendant hanging from the rearview mirror. It was Marcus’ subtle to evoke memories of their shared attempt past.

However, Melissa couldn't help but feel that those memories were now distant echoes, lost to the passage of time.

Since returning to Duefron, Marcus had been unpredictable. One moment, he would be kind and affectionate, and the next, distant and aloof.

Melissa couldn't decipher his thoughts or feelings anymore.

With a sigh, Melissa retrieved her phone and dialed Marcus’ number.Contents belong to NovelDrama.Org

His brisk response came through the line. “Are you here? Come straight to my office.” Leaning back in her seat, Melissa hesitated before speaking.

Her voice was low and strained as she asked, “Marcus, I didn't want to discuss this over the phone, but I need to know... After all these years, do you still harbor feelings for me, or have you grown to despise me?”
