Eventually, she looked up and locked her gaze with Aline’s. “You shattered Vera’s marriage years ago. Now, despite being married yourself and experiencing a favorable outcome, you still seek to harm others and tempt Waylen. Aline, I must ask, did you do it all intentionally?”

Aline was left speechless.
