Chapter 5

The two fleshy-faced men completely ignored Diane’s screams. Flanking her on each side, they dragged her bythe arms into the van parked further ahead. novelbin

Diane’s body was already frail, so she couldn’t possibly break from their grip. Hence, all she could do was begfor help from Maria and George helplessly.

“Mom, Dad, save me. I don’t want to go with them,” Diane yelled as tears ran down her face while she struggledwith all her might.

Maria looked at her coldly, whereas George got up from the ground and craned his neck to yell at her, “Stay withthem for a few days, Diana. I’ll be sure to find you once I get the money.”

Diane was completely in despair because of her father’s words as a gambling fiend. All of a sudden, she couldn’trecognise her parents’ faces—they seemed like strangers to her. Her throat felt as though someone was squeezingit, and she couldn’t scream at all.

Just like that, Diane was brought to a club in such a state.

“Ms. Lena, we’re leaving this girl for you to train over the next few days. If her father doesn’t pay back themoney he owes us by then, let her service some guests to cover his debt.”

The two men tossed Diane over to a woman by the name of Lena. Lena immediately grabbed Diane with onehand and examined her face as though she was surveying some item.

Diane knew that the woman was surveying her to see how much she would sell for. She already had no otheroptions, so all she could do was beg Lena to add a few extra days to the time limit.

Lena tossed her back to the ground and said coldly, “Two days. If no one brings the money here, you’ll have toentertain the guests.”

When Diane was brought here, the men had taken her belongings; she had no way of contacting the outsideworld. Her only option was to pray that Maria and George still cared for her since she was their daughter.Unfortunately, neither of them even showed up by the second night.

“She’ll start serving the guests tomorrow. Give Tom a call so that she can get used to this place for tonight.”

After waiting until the last moment, Lena then ordered two goons to drag Diane into a booth.

“Be a good girl—the debt’s 100,000 bucks. Accepting second-rate goods like you is already considered cheating. If you don’t behave yourself, we’ll break your legs,” said Lena harshly while she threatened Diane and shovedher inside. Right after she had done so, the man named Tom entered the room and locked the door.

The moment he did so, he grabbed hold of Diane and dragged her to the bed further inside the room. Meanwhile,Diane struggled with everything she had.

“Let go of me, you b*stard! This is illegal!” Diane screamed at the top of her lungs as her hands beat furiously atTom’s chest, but her strikes were barely noticeable to a man as tall and large as he was. He didn’t even look at heras he simply scooped her up and tossed her onto the bed.

Dinae’s head swam from the impact. Meanwhile, Tom impatiently tore off his clothes by the side of the bed.Soon, his somewhat hairy chest was in full view. Diane was so disgusted that she wanted to throw up, but an ideastemming from her panic suddenly flashed across her mind. With that, she quickly got up and wrapped her armsaround Tom’s neck.

Tom froze, but he soon grinned lecherously. “You’re being an eager little b*tch when you were still pretendingjust now.”

He didn’t push her away. Instead, Diane used those precious few seconds to bite down hard on his neck as thoughshe was a vampire.

“Ah!”

When Diane tasted blood on the tip of her tongue, Tom yelled as well. She then quickly loosened her arms aroundhim and lifted her leg to attack his crotch viciously with her knee.

Having been assaulted at both ends, Tom hunched over from the pain. Diane quickly rolled and scrambled off thebed, opening the door to leave the room.

“Damn it, stop her!”

Tom soon chased after her. With her breath in her throat, Diane had no time to think—all she knew was that shehad to run like mad. However, it was as though God was deliberately against her; since she was in such apanicked state, Diane’s legs immediately went weak right as she reached the top of the stairs. As a result of that, she toppled down the steps.

She shrieked, her sight going blurry as she prepared herself for the tumble in despair. To her surprise, whatwelcomed her was not the coldness of the floor, but the warmth of someone’s chest. Although it was a little hard,it was still better than cracking her head open from rolling down the stairs.

Before Diane could get a glimpse at the man’s face, her hands were already scrabbling at his expensive shirt, leaving him in a disheveled state. The moment she lifted her head, she was stunned. It was the man who had a

one-night stand with her—the one who wanted to keep her as a side chick. It truly was a small world.

“You’re here, Mr. Wayne. That d*mn girl didn’t catch you off guard, did she?”

Wayne?

A ray of light suddenly shone inside Diane’s mind. It shone on a memory, one so old that it was already hazy.

Is it him? No wonder he seemed familiar at first glance.

Christopher Wayne!

Diane gazed at the person before her. He looked at her too; his eyes were like two calm pools, devoid of anyfriendliness.

The Waynes had always been as cold as ice. Right now, Diane was afraid that the man before her would leave heralone instead of helping her, so she couldn’t stop herself from opening her mouth.

“Please help me, Mr. Wayne.”

Something finally stirred in Christopher’s eyes. His brows furrowed, and he once again lowered his gaze as heslowly lifted a hand to tear Diane’s grip on his shirt away in disgust.

Diane’s heart nearly leaped out of her chest. As she watched her hand that was about to be wrenched away fromhis shirt, she made a bold move that no one expected.
